Meow Meow Team Height Five-Sided Sublimation 141 Full Set Keycap Plastic Keycaps for Mechanical Keyboards

This keycap set from Meow Meow Team delivers a complete solution for refreshing the look of any standard full-size mechanical keyboard. The set includes 141 keycaps, each featuring five-sided sublimation printing that covers the top and all four sides of the keycap. The 'Height' theme design is integrated through the dye-sublimation process, which infuses the colour into the plastic rather than applying it as a surface layer. This approach helps the design resist fading from regular typing, gaming, or office use. The keycaps are made from plastic, a widely used material in mechanical keyboard keysets that offers a balance of weight, feel, and affordability.

Features and Construction

Understanding the keycap's build and design helps in choosing the right upgrade. The set is constructed from plastic with a standard profile suitable for most Cherry MX-style switches. The five-sided sublimation printing distinguishes this set from basic printed keycaps, as the design extends to all visible faces of each key for a more uniform appearance.

Material and Build

The keycaps are crafted from plastic, the most common material for mass-produced keycap sets. This material provides a lightweight feel consistent with standard OEM keycaps. The five-sided sublimation process applies the 'Height' theme design through heat and pressure, bonding the colour into the plastic matrix. This method is considered more durable than pad printing or laser etching because the design is part of the plastic rather than sitting on top.

Size and Practical Fit

At 141 keys, this set is designed to cover a standard full-size keyboard layout, including the number row, alphanumeric section, navigation cluster, and numeric keypad. The keycaps are compatible with mechanical keyboards that use Cherry MX-style stems, which are the most common switch type across gaming, typing, and office keyboards. The standard height and profile ensure that keys sit evenly across the keyboard.

Uses and Placement

This keycap set is suited for various keyboard applications, from gaming setups to daily workstations. The five-sided design provides visual coverage from every angle, making it a practical choice for keyboards in shared or visible spaces.

Gaming and Typing Use

Gamers often seek a cohesive look across their entire keyboard, and this 141-key set delivers a consistent theme without missing keys. The sublimation printing resists fading from heavy hand oils and cleaning, which is relevant for extended gaming sessions. Typists benefit from the uniform feel across all keys, as the standard plastic construction matches the touch of common keycaps.

Office and Everyday Use

In an office environment, a complete keycap set provides a neat, professional appearance for standard full-size keyboards. The five-sided design ensures that the 'Height' theme is visible from all sides, which can be aesthetically pleasing in a shared workspace. The plastic material is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth, maintaining a tidy look.

Benefits and Buying Value

Choosing a full-keycap set simplifies the upgrade process, as no single keys are missing. The sublimation printing offers longevity for the design, and the plastic construction keeps the set affordable and accessible.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Since the design is infused into the plastic, there is no top layer to peel off or wear away over time. This makes the keycaps suitable for long-term use without the design degrading. Cleaning is straightforward: a soft brush or damp cloth can remove dust and debris without damaging the print.
