RIVER Pro 720Wh Portable Power Station – 600W Pure Sine Wave AC Output for Camping and Emergency Backup

The RIVER Pro is a robust 720Wh portable power station designed to keep your devices running when mains electricity isn't available. Whether you need backup for a power cut, a reliable energy source for camping, or mobile power for a building site, this unit delivers up to 600W of pure sine wave AC power with 1200W peak capacity. Its pure sine wave output ensures safe operation for sensitive electronics, including laptops, CPAP machines, and camera gear. With multiple recharging options – from mains, your car, or solar panels up to 200W – you can stay powered for longer periods without relying on a single source. At just 7.6kg, it is light enough to move between locations yet powerful enough to run essential appliances.

Power Output and Port Configuration

This power station offers a versatile range of ports to meet various device requirements simultaneously. The AC outlets provide clean, stable power, while USB and DC outputs handle smaller electronics.

AC Output Details

The RIVER Pro includes two AC outlets delivering a combined 600W continuous power (total output) with a peak surge capacity of 1200W. It can also drive a 1500W load for brief moments. This is sufficient to run small refrigerators, electric coolers, power tools, and household electronics without distortion.

USB and Fast Charging Ports

For device charging, the unit offers two standard USB ports (5V, 12W each), one fast-charging USB port (5V, 18W), and one USB Type-C port with 100W power delivery. The USB-C port can rapidly charge laptops, tablets, and high-capacity battery packs.

DC and Car Charger Outputs

Additional outputs include two DC5521 ports (13.6V, 3A) and a dedicated car charger outlet (13.6V, 136W). These are ideal for running 12V accessories such as LED lights, fans, or portable fridges.

Recharging Options and Speeds

Keeping the RIVER Pro recharged is straightforward thanks to three input methods. You can choose the fastest available method depending on your location and resources.

AC Mains Charging

Plug into a standard 220-240V socket (50Hz/60Hz) for reliable charging at home or in a campervan. This is the simplest way to top up the battery before an outing.

Car Charging

Connect to a 12V DC outlet in your vehicle (max 8A) for en-route charging. This is useful for long drives between campsites or jobsites.

Solar Panel Charging

The unit accepts solar panels up to 200W (input range 10-25V DC, 12A max). This enables off-grid, renewable charging during extended outdoor stays, reducing reliance on fossil-fuel-generated electricity.

Durability and Operating Environment

Built for outdoor conditions, the RIVER Pro operates across a wide temperature range, ensuring reliable performance in typical British weather.

Temperature Tolerance

Discharge is possible from -20°C to 60°C, so the unit works in cold winter conditions or hot summer sun. Charging is safe between 0°C and 45°C. The recommended storage range is 20°C to 30°C for best battery longevity.

Weight and Portability

At 7.6kg, the RIVER Pro is compact enough to carry by its built-in handle and store in a car boot or caravan. Its rugged construction withstands bumps during transport.
