Made from a soft polyester brocade cotton ponte-de-roma blend, the material is breathable and comfortable for extended wear. The heather gray color is low-maintenance and looks suitable for outdoor walks or indoor relaxation. With seven sizes covering dogs from under 4kg to over 50kg, it fits everything from a tiny Chihuahua to a large Labrador.

Features and Construction

This anxiety vest is built for practical everyday use with a focus on reliable fit and material quality.

Material and Build

The garment uses polyester brocade cotton ponte-de-roma, a fabric that combines softness with breathability. The ponte-de-roma knit gives it a structured yet flexible feel, allowing the jacket to hold its shape while moving with your dog. The polyester content adds resilience to regular washing, and the brocade finish provides a subtle texture. This blend is designed to offer gentle pressure without overheating, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor wear in mild weather.

Size and Practical Fit

The sizing system is based entirely on weight, which simplifies the selection process. XXS suits dogs under 4kg, XS for 4-6kg, S for 7-11kg, M for 12-18kg, L for 19-29kg, XL for 30-50kg, and XXL for dogs over 50kg. This wide range means you can find a close fit for most adult dogs, which is essential for the jacket's anxiety-reducing effect. The jacket is not breed-specific, so it works well for mixed breeds as well as purebreds. The heather gray colour is neutral and goes with any coat type.

Uses and Placement

This jacket is designed for multiple scenarios where a dog may need extra comfort and reassurance.

Event or Professional Use

For professional dog walkers, groomers, and kennels, this jacket can be a useful tool to keep dogs calm during busy or unfamiliar situations. It can be worn during grooming appointments, car rides to the vet, or while waiting in a boarding facility. The easy-to-fit design allows quick dressing and removal, which is practical for handling multiple dogs or time-sensitive environments.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the jacket is ideal for dogs that react to loud noises like fireworks, vacuum cleaners, or doorbells. It can also be helpful during separation anxiety training, providing a familiar, comforting layer. The breathable fabric means it can be worn for extended periods without causing discomfort, and the adjustable fit ensures it stays in place during play or sleep. For dogs that dislike traditional clothing, this vest's simple design and soft material may be easier to introduce.

Benefits and Buying Value

The jacket offers practical value beyond just anxiety relief, with a focus on reuse and low-maintenance care.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Polyester brocade cotton ponte-de-roma is machine washable, so the jacket can be cleaned after muddy walks or trips to the park. Regular washing does not compromise the gentle pressure effect, as the fabric retains its structure. The heather gray colour hides dirt well, reducing the need for frequent washing. This durability means the same jacket can be used for many years across multiple dogs, provided the size is appropriate.

Why Choose This Product

This anxiety jacket stands out for its size range (XXS to XXL), which covers almost any dog weight. The use of ponte-de-roma fabric offers a balance of softness and structure that cheaper fleece or nylon alternatives may not provide. The single color option is simple but universally appealing, and the fact that it comes in one jacket per pack means you can mix and match sizes for multiple dogs without waste. If you need a straightforward, breathable, and pressure-based calming solution, this jacket is a reliable choice.
