Automatic Fish Feeder for Aquarium Tank with 24-Hour Timer and 2-Month Battery Life

Keeping a regular feeding schedule for your aquarium fish can be a challenge, especially during busy workdays or holidays. This automatic fish feeder reliably dispenses food at the same time each day, helping to maintain consistent nutrition for your fish without requiring manual intervention. With a compact 9x9x18cm size and white ABS construction, it fits neatly into most small to medium tanks and blends with standard aquarium setups. The unit operates on either battery power with a two-month lifespan or via the included 1.5-metre USB cable, giving you flexibility depending on your setup. Whether you have tropical fish, goldfish, or other freshwater species, this feeder provides a straightforward solution to automated feeding.

Features and Construction

This automatic feeder is built around simple, reliable components that focus on ease of use and consistent performance. The main body is made from ABS, a common material in aquarium devices known for its rigidity and resistance to moisture. Compact dimensions allow it to sit securely above the tank opening without taking up excessive space.

Material and Build

The feeder uses ABS plastic for its main housing, which is lightweight and resistant to the humid environment above a fish tank. White colouration gives it a clean, neutral appearance that does not distract from the aquarium display. The build is straightforward, with a rotating drum mechanism that releases food at the programmed intervals.

Size and Practical Fit

At 9x9x18cm, this feeder is suitable for smaller to medium aquarium tanks. Its compact footprint means it can be placed on the rim of many glass or acrylic tanks without interfering with lids or lighting fixtures. The size also makes it easy to store or transport when not in use.

Uses and Placement

This feeder is primarily designed for everyday feeding of aquarium fish in home or office settings. Its 24-hour timer mode supports a single daily feeding event, which matches the requirements of many common community fish. Placement is straightforward above the tank opening.

Event or Professional Use

For fish breeders or pet sitters managing multiple tanks, this feeder offers a reliable way to cover feeding shifts during absences. The two-month battery life reduces the frequency of maintenance checks, and the timer ensures food is delivered at a consistent hour each day.

Everyday Home Use

In a household aquarium, the feeder helps maintain a routine even when the owner is at work or school overnight. The white finish complements most tank setups, and the low profile does not block access to the tank for cleaning or maintenance. Simply set the timer and top up the food reservoir as needed.

Benefits and Buying Value

Automating fish feeding offers clear convenience for aquarium owners. This model focuses on reliable basic functionality without unnecessary electronic complexity. The inclusion of both USB and battery power options gives users flexibility depending on tank location and access to outlets.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The feeder requires only occasional battery changes (roughly every two months) or a constant USB connection for power. The ABS body is easy to wipe clean and resists water splash damage. Food refills are simple through the top opening, and the unit can be used repeatedly across different tanks or vacations.

Why Choose This Product

This feeder offers a straightforward, no-fuss approach to automated feeding. Its compact size, dual power options, and 24-hour timer cover the most common need: one consistent feeding per day. The two-month battery life means you can go on holiday without worrying about power failure, and the ABS construction ensures it will withstand the humid tank environment.
